2023 Graduations

The high school graduation took place on May 12, 2023 with 23 graduating seniors. The school gym was filled with family and friends. Salutatorian, Josephine P. Menard finished her speech by saying “After tonight, always remember to carry yourselves with pride and dignity of who you are and where you come from. I dare you to challenge others b=and be the encouragement that reminds others of their potential.” Valedictorian, Latai Charles, added “Where there is no struggle, there is no strength , and i know I wouldn’t be here without my own struggles. Don’t give up, whatever you do.” Shortly after, diplomas were dispersed among the seniors.

The 8th grade promotion was held on May 17, 2023 in the morning for 28 eighth graders moving into high school. Invocation led by Isiah Laws and followed by the pledge of allegiance by group of students. Vice Principal, Dr. Chandler welcomes everyone and says ” Today marks a special day in your academic journey.” Principal Brown talks about ACE, which stands for attitude, character and effort.” Students had on display their career interests and their aspirations.
