Hoops for Jess

Jessyca Becenti is the granddaughter of Skyline Gila River teacher Ella Barnett. She was diagnosed with late stage one and early stage two ductal carcinoma breast cancer at twenty six years old. Jessyca has one ten year old son, Khein. Jessyca recently had a double mastectomy with reconstruction surgery on December 19, 2019 and will be undergoing  chemotherapy. Due to the chemo, Jessyca has chosen fertility preservation, which is not covered by her insurance. All proceeds from tonight’s basketball games will be donated to Jessyca to help her with medical costs, bills expenses, etc. Skyline Gila River is proud to be sharing this journey with Jessyca and her family.
